Garlic can be taken in many ways to treat various skin problems. You can ingest garlic cloves or apply topically to get the expected result. Here are some of my garlic home remedies, which you can use to remove acne or acne scars.

Garlic & Rose Water (Topical Use)

This mixture works so well. The great thing about this garlic and rose water mixture is it is well suited for everyone. For many people who have sensitive skin, raw garlic can be very uncomfortable.


  • Mince 2 garlic cloves
  • Add 1 tablespoon Rosewater
  • Gently apply the mixture on the affected area of your skin
  • Leave on for a few minutes
  • Rinse with water and dry off.

Yogurt & Garlic Mixture (Both For Edible & Topical Use)


  • Mince 3 or 4 garlic cloves properly
  • Add 2 tablespoon of yogurt
  • Add ½ or 1 teaspoon of honey
  • Mix it well
  • Eat it or apply it on the face like a mask
  • Leave the mask for 20 minutes
  • Rinse with water.

These are my two favorite methods of taking garlic. You can also use them with apple cider vinegar or aloe vera. You can also take garlic extract supplements for your convenience.
