2. Garlic Pills

The chances are the idea of swallowing the whole garlic clove already crossed your mind. There are one or two problems with this approach.
Alliinase, an enzyme which is responsible for forming allicin, is only released after garlic is crushed or cut. On the other hand, garlic clove’s circumference is almost as same as the circumference of human esophagus. It can get stuck in your throat.

The best way to swallow garlic clove is by making garlic pills. Chop a garlic clove into three or four pieces. Leave the garlic pieces for 10 minutes. This will allow it to activate the allicin. Then swallow the garlic pills.

This is one of my favorite recipes with raw garlic. If you are trying to make your kid eat raw garlic this method works super fine. Dice a garlic clove properly and mix it with softened butter. Then apply the butter garlic mix on a toast. You would be surprised to see how the butter can negate the flavor of raw garlic. This is very tasty food which wouldn’t be hard to try with kids. So, next time make garlic butter toast for your kid to boost his/her immune system.

4. Dressing Salad

This is another raw garlic recipes to ingest raw garlic. You will need:

  • ½ cup raw apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh egg yolks of 2 eggs
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Black pepper
  • Sea salt or Himalayan salt
  • Virgin olive oil, 1 or 1 ½ cups

Combine vinegar, egg yolks or mustard, minced garlic, black pepper, and other seasonings. Mix it well. Slowly mix extra virgin olive oil with the mixture. Taste the mixture with a fresh lettuce leaf. If it is too pungent add more olive oil. Keep the salad mixture in the refrigerator. Shake before each serving.

5. Lemon-Honey-Garlic Tea

This recipe is super effective in treating a sore throat, flu, and colds. Crush 3 or 4 garlic cloves and put them into a pot. Pour two cups of water and heat the water for 10 minutes with medium heat. After that, pour the juice of 1 lemon and honey according to your taste. Your lemon honey garlic tea is ready. Honey, lemon and garlic, It can’t get healthier than this!

6. Mashed Potatoes

You can also enjoy raw garlic with mashed potatoes. Just boil some potatoes. Then the mash is well. While mashing, add some chopped onion and chopped garlic, peppermint, and salt.

7. Garlic & Honey

This is very much similar to the garlic pill technique. Make some garlic pill. Leave it for 10 minutes and then take a spoon of honey. Mix the garlic pills with the honey and eat is up. You can try to chew the garlic pills if you like. The taste of honey should do fine to reduce the strong flavor of garlic. Or you can also swallow it if chewing garlic is too hard for you.
